Posh Relaunch FAQ's

As we prepare to relaunch Posh, this page is designed to be a quick reference to some Frequently Asked Questions during the process. This page is updated often, so check back often. You can also follow daily updates at perfectlyposh.com/relaunch.

General Questions

When is Posh going to relaunch?

April 1, 2024 is our scheduled launch date. Follow along and we'll keep you updated as that date approaches.

Are Posh and Innov8tive going to be separate companies?

Yes. Watch the announcement video here:

What will Posh consultants be called?

Advocates! The definition of an Advocate is a person who publicly supports or recommends a specific cause. Posh is all about self-care and pampering. That is our cause and that is what we stand for as Advocates!

Will Posh be a party plan?

That's a very interesting question. If what you mean is, "Do we require Advocates to submit group orders and hostess rewards?" Then the answer is no. But can you hold parties? Absolutely. And you should because it's so much fun trying products and spending time with friends! And you can gather all of the guest orders and submit them together under the host so that she gets the Perks Points. Or, you can have all of the guests submit their orders individually and each of them will get Perks Points toward a future order. It's designed to be flexible so that you can run your business your way.

Can I sell for other companies and be a Posh Advocate?

Yes. From Ranks 1-9, there are no restrictions. Beginning at Rank 10, there will be limitations about representing other skincare brands.

Does Andrew McBride own Perfectly Posh now? Is this the same company he founded in 2011?

Andrew founded Posh in 2011 and left in 2017. That company went out of business in 2022. The brand (including the products, the name, the website, etc.) was acquired by Innov8tive Nutrition. Andrew created a new company in 2024 and acquired the Perfectly Posh brand and assets from Innov8tive. Andrew is now the Founder, Owner, and CEO. He is excited to relaunch and revive the Perfectly Posh brand in this new company!

The Posh Pay Plan

Is the Posh Pay Plan totally new?

Yes. The Posh Pay Plan was created by Andrew McBride, Founder and CEO. It might have some familiar elements, but we encourage you to forget what you know about compensation plans and learn why the Posh Pay Plan is the next generation of plans that will take you and Posh to new heights!

How does the Posh Pay Plan work?

The 3 parts of the Posh Pay Plan are:

  1. Personal Commissions. You are paid 10-30% on your personal Sales, which includes your personal orders and orders from your retail customers.
  2. Mentor Bonus. You are paid up to 8% on the Sales of other Advocates in your team. Your bonus is based on two things: the Rank of the other Advocate and the distance you are from them. So, for example, if you are Up 2 from a Rank 13 Advocate who has an order, you would receive a 4% Mentor Bonus on that order. The Mentor Bonus is paid weekly.
  3. Pool Bonus. Beginning at Rank 10, you can be eligible for a Pool Bonus every month. Posh dedicates a percentage of all Sales to a Pool Bonus for each Rank from Rank 10 to Rank 23, and each Pool Bonus is divided equally among all qualifying Advocates.

Is there a minimum sales requirement to be an Advocate?

Yes. If you don't have a team below you, then you must have $100 in Sales every 12 months to keep your Advocate account open.

There is also a Minimum Sales Requirement (MSR) to receive the Mentor Bonus:

  • If you are receiving a Mentor Bonus on one or more Rank 1-4 Advocates, your MSR is $0.
  • If you are receiving a Mentor Bonus on one or more Rank 5 Advocates, your MSR is $100 every two months.
  • If you are receiving a Mentor Bonus on one or more Rank 6-8 Advocates, your MSR is $300 every two months.
  • If you are receiving a Mentor Bonus on one or more Rank 9 Advocates, your MSR is $500 every two months.
  • If you are receiving a Mentor Bonus on one or more Rank 10-23 Advocates, your MSR is $800 every two months.

So, effectively the most you will ever be required to have in Sales to keep your team is $800 every two months or $400 per month.

In the chart below, "Original Advocate" means the Advocate who submits an order or is attached to an order that is submitted by a customer. If you are receiving a Mentor Bonus on that Advocate's sales, you are either Up 1, Up 2, Up 3, Up 4, or Up 5 to that Advocate. The Minimum Sales Requirement applies to all Advocates above him or her (Up 1, Up 2, Up 3, Up 4, and/or Up 5) if they are receiving a Mentor Bonus.

How are commissions calculated?

Your commissions are calculated in real-time. Here is an example: when you start the week as a Rank 1 Advocate, then you are paid as a Rank 1 Advocate for any Sales that you have during that week. So, you know that rate in advance. You always know where you are and how far you are from the next step. At the end of the week, we look at your Lifetime Sales. If you have enough to rank advance, then you start the next week at the new Rank.

It works the same way with people in your team. If someone starts the week as a Rank 5 Advocate and you are Up 1 to her, then you earn a 7% Mentor Bonus on her Sales that week. You always know where people are on your team and how far each person is from the next step so that you can help them as their leader.

How will commissions be paid?

Your commissions will be paid to a pay card provided by Posh, then you have the option of transferring to your checking account or using your pay card for purchases.

Products

Can I buy Posh products before the launch?

Yes. Posh products are available at Innov8tive.com where they have been since 2022, and where they will be until Posh relaunches.

Which products will be available when Posh relaunches?

Posh is purchasing the Posh inventory from Innov8tive. Therefore, the Posh products available pre-launch at Innov8tive are the products Posh will launch with. We will have approximately 66 products available at launch.

Will there be new products at Posh? When?

We are working on adding new Posh products right now! Some of the new Posh products will be throwbacks to all-time bestsellers and favorites. But that's not all -- we'll also be introducing totally new Posh products toward the end of 2024 and into 2025.

Are current Posh products old or expired?

No. Our team is carefully tracking the expiration date provided by the manufacturer for every product. When the expiration date arrives, we destroy the product. And keep in mind that the expiration date is "sell by" and not "best if used by." Your products may be good far beyond the date we are tracking.

We also stand by the quality of every Posh product. Great products help us achieve our vision of self-care for everyone. And if it’s not great, we’ll make it right by replacing it.

What will the prices be on Posh products?

Prices will be similar to what they are currently at Innov8tive, with a few adjustments.

What will shipping fees be on orders?

Our goal at Posh is to have the lowest shipping fees possible. As a company, we try to break even and only charge customers and Advocates the actual cost of fulfilling and shipping your orders. The exact shipping fee amounts will be published at the end of March, before relaunch.

Programs

What Posh programs should I know about?

The main programs everyone should know about are The Posh Pay Plan, Perks Points, and Incentives.

How does the Pay Plan work?

Check The Posh Pay Plan section on this page.

We're going to have Perks Points?!

Yes! Everyone will earn Perks Points on every purchase. Then you'll be able to redeem those Perks Points for products. Spend them right away or save them up -- it's up to you. Plus, we'll be giving you Perks Points for attending events and doing self-care tasks like taking a walk. Really. 😮

How do Incentives work?

I'll announce the Incentive criteria on April 1st. But you should know that this is my philosophy on Incentives: to earn prizes and trips, you should be doing the things that also add value to your business. This way, you not only earn prizes in the short-term, but you also are doing things that will increase your income and your business stability long-term. Plus, I always give you "finish line prizes" that you are guaranteed to receive when you complete specific criteria. So even though a limited number of people may earn a trip, there are other prizes that you can earn no matter what.

Events

Will we have Posh events again? What type of events can we expect in 2024?

Yes! We are excited to get back to Posh events this year! Posh Relaunch Tour events will be in 12 cities in March 2024, and 12 more cities in April/May 2024. We will also have an Incentive Trip, UnConventional, and many more local meetings this year.

Where can I find out more information about the Posh Relaunch Tour?

Join the Posh Relaunch Tour Facebook Group and RSVP for an upcoming event near you!

How do I RSVP to an event for the Posh Relaunch Tour?

Find the event that you will attend on the Posh Relaunch Tour Facebook Group, then select "Going" for that event. This will help us to bring enough materials for everyone.

When is the first Incentive Trip?

The first Posh Incentive Trip will be August 8th. You can qualify for the trip in April, May, and June. Many more exciting, relaxing, pampering, inspiring, and satisfying details to come. 😊

When is UnConventional?

We're looking at September for the return of UnCon! Location and details coming in April.

Downlines and Frontline

Will Posh start with downlines from Innov8tive, Posh, BeCause Cosmetics, or any other company?

No. The downline structure at Posh will be completely new.

I have a team right now somewhere else. Can I keep my team together?

Yes. Get everyone together and enroll at Posh as you choose. It's up to you! We will not force any Advocate to choose a specific sponsor. Every Advocate will be able to choose his or her sponsor from any active Advocate.

What are frontline Advocates?

When the company launches, we start with Advocates who don't have a sponsor -- they are direct to the company itself. I would like to avoid positioning frontline as a status symbol, although I can’t completely control that. Frontline is more of a utility group in my mind than a leadership group. Leadership is earned and demonstrated. Some people will be selected to be frontline and never sell a single product or recruit anyone, despite having previous experience and making it through the application and selection process. So those people haven’t earned any access in my mind. Their feedback carries no weight if they don’t show up.

When enrollment starts on April 1, how do I know who my sponsor will be?

We never assign sponsors. All new Advocates choose their own sponsors when they enroll. You will be able to search from all active Advocates in the system. I highly recommend deciding now and starting form a bond with your sponsor. He or she should be a resource for you and will provide the support you need to achieve your goals.

Let's also consider an enrollment example. Let's say that you know already who you would like your sponsor to be and she has applied to be a frontline Advocate. What should you do?  Communicate well with your chosen sponsor. There is a possibility that she will not be selected to be a frontline Advocate. If that happens, she will need to choose her own sponsor and enroll before you do so that she is in the system and available for you to select.

How to Join Posh

When can I join Perfectly Posh?

Our scheduled launch date is April 1, 2024.

What will the Join process look like when the company launches?

When our full website goes live, there will be a simple form to fill out with your contact information. You will then agree to the terms and conditions of becoming an Advocate with Perfectly Posh and you will choose a sponsor. You may choose any active Advocate to be your sponsor.

Is there a waiting period when I join until my account is created?

No. Joining is immediate. You'll have a link for your customers or new team members to join you immediately.

How much does it cost to join Perfectly Posh? Is there a Starter Kit?

It's FREE to join Posh! When you join, you will receive a unique coupon code for 50% off anything on perfectlyposh.com. You can use your code one time, anytime within your first 30 days. So basically, you get to choose your own Starter Kit! Choose the products that you want, spend the amount that you want, and start your business as an Advocate on your terms!

Are there any website, monthly, or annual fees to be a Posh Advocate?

No.

Do I have to sign up under a frontline Advocate?

No. You can choose any active Advocate to be your sponsor. If you're joining together, just make sure the sponsor joins first so that you can select her.

More Info

Why don't we have a Facebook page for Advocates?

We won't be using Facebook for our primary communication channel. In the mean time, you are welcome to connect with your Posh Peeps however it's convenient to you, but stay tuned for Andrew's vision of the future.

Which payment methods will be available on Posh orders?

You can use credit card, PayPal, or Sezzle.

What about Amazon? Will the company keep selling Posh on Amazon?

There was a time when 50-100 individual sellers had Posh products listed on Amazon. The best way for a company to respond to that situation and protect its brand is to create a storefront with Amazon and provide Amazon with documentation that shows we own trademarks and copyrights. That gives the company the ability to ask Amazon to remove all of the individual sellers or listings.

But then the company is selling on Amazon, right? And I completely agree with you -- that can create a situation where a customer would rather make a purchase there instead of through an Advocate. And I don't want that. So, my plan is to raise the prices on products we have there high enough so that customers have a good reason to buy from Advocates. The shipping time will be about the same because my logistics team ships everything the day the order is placed or the following day. But the prices will be 40% or more above what they will be on perfectlyposh.com. And if 40% isn't high enough, we'll make it 50% above.

I still understand that occasionally someone will make a purchase from our Amazon store, even at marked up prices. I'm OK if no one buys anything there, but it may happen. So if that happens, I'm committing to use those funds for specific Advocate programs.

This is the way that I can protect the Posh brand and protect the Posh Advocates.
